London, New York and Lagos here we come!

Not one to let the cat out of the bag, but I've waited long enough on the news that we have selected dates and 90% confirmed on our sponsors for the Stars on the Runway series for 2008. 

Yes you heard me say series, that's because this year, we are not only taking the event one step higher, we're taking it 2 steps further.  Firstly, we are staging the UK edition in London, then off to New York and then taking the show back home to Lagos at the end of the year.

If you recall, we were due to do the UK edition last November (2007), but as I have learnt in this my short time producing events, if it's not ready, don't do it, don't rush it, and more importantly, don't announce the dates or whatever, because the public will hold you to your announcement and your promise to deliver a first class show, which is always our main aim at R70 World.

That is why, although I am letting the cat out of the bag a little bit (maybe show you the leg), I am keeping the details close to my chest until we put pen to paper with the sponsors and do our press conference.  What I can tell you though is that there are going to be 3 shows and all the events will happen within 4 months, okay, let me stop there.

What I can promise however is that if you were at the first Stars on the Runway in Lagos last year, or you watched it on TV in Nigeria and in the UK, you will be blown away by what we have in store for the public this year.  New categories, new concepts and completely surprising everyone with one or two things.  Honestly I can wait.
